Lancaster PA Small Animal Auction Schedule & Details

Green Dragon Farmers Market & Auction is open every Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The small animal auction takes place on Friday evenings and is held on the market grounds.

Small Animal Auction Details

• Auction Day: Every Friday
• Auction Time: 6:30 PM
• Receiving Time: Consignments are accepted beginning at 3:30 PM
• Location on Grounds: Small Animal Auction Building, located in the upper entrance between Buildings 1 and 6
• Address: 955 North State Street, Ephrata, PA 17522
• Seller Commission: 20% commission charged to sellers
• Buyer Registration: Buyers must register for a permanent buyer number in the Small Animal Office (located in the same building as the sale) before bidding
• Animal Policy: No cats or dogs may be sold or permitted in the auction building (service dogs are welcome)

Poultry buyers and sellers should note that, as of April 1, 2025, poultry sales have resumed at the small animal auction in accordance with USDA guidance. For current information and any health-paper requirements, please call the auction contacts listed below.
